Apple iPad - View Extend Battery Life
Here's how to increase the battery life on your Apple iPad device.
Battery life on your Apple® device is measured by standby time and usage time.
- Standby time is the amount of time the device remains on with no activity.
- Usage time is based on activity while the device is on.
- Data usage (e.g., web browsing, apps, streaming, etc.) reduces usage time.
- Verify the Auto-Lock setting. The longer the device waits to Auto-Lock, the longer the screen stays on which drains the battery. For optimal battery life, navigate: and choose one of the shorter timeframes (30 Seconds or 1 Minute).
- In order to improve battery life of your Apple® iPad®, you can:
- Adjust brightness settings to lowest setting or use Automatic brightness.
- Turn off GPS when not in use.If disabled, certain apps or services may not work properly.
- Turn off sounds / alerts if not used.
- Turn off notifications if not used.
- Turn on airplane / standalone mode to turn off all cellular network connections.
- Change fetch new data settings to longest sync frequency.

or off
.
