Apple iPad - Turn Notifications On / Off

Here's how to turn status bar or banner notifications for your iPad on or off.
Turning on notifications may impact battery life.
  1. From the Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, navigate:

    Notifications

  2. From the 'NOTIFICATION STYLE' section, tap the desired app (e.g., App Store, Messages, Email, Reminders, Calendar, etc.).
  3. Tap the
    Allow Notifications switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch icon.
  4. From the 'Alerts' section, select the desired options:
    Selected when a checkmark is present.
    • Lock Screen
    • Notification Center
    • Banners
  5. Tap the
    Badges switch
     to turn on or off.
