Apple iPad - Manage Sound Settings

Here's how to change notification sounds for incoming calls or messages on your iPad.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, navigate:

  2. From the 'RINGTONE AND ALERT VOLUME' section, drag the slider to set the volume for ringer and alert volumes.
    If unavailable, from the 'RINGER AND ALERTS' section, drag the slider to set the volume for ringer and alert volumes.
  3. Tap the
    Change with Buttons switch
     to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
    While enabled, the volume of ringer and alerts can be adjusted using the volume buttons.
  4. From the 'SOUNDS' section, select any of the following:
    Select (check) the desired option then tap
    Sounds
     (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
    • Ringtone
    • Text Tone
    • New Mail
    • Sent Mail
    • Calendar Alerts
    • Reminder Alerts
    • AirDrop
  5. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Keyboard Clicks
    • Lock Sounds
