My Verizon App - Manage Video Streaming Quality

Here's how to switch between 480p and 720p video streaming quality via the My Verizon app.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
    If you're not able to access the My Verizon app, you can also visit the My Verizon website to manage your account.
  • Streaming quality
  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     .
  2. Tap the
    Account tab
     (at the bottom).
    If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
    This process is only available to Account Owners or Managers.
  3. Tap
    Plans
    .
  4. Tap the desired line.
  5. From the 'HD-quality streaming' section, tap the
    switch
     to turn on On icon or off Off icon.
    This option is only available on select Unlimited plans.
  6. Restart your device for the change to take effect.
    Refer to your device's user manual for restart instructions.
