Here's how to quickly set up your moto g7 power.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate your moto g7 power on prepaid service , refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the moto logo appears then release.
  2. Select the appropriate language then tap
    START
    .
    Select the appropriate language then tap Start
  3. Verify the correct mobile number is listed then tap
    Next
    .
    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.
    Verify the correct mobile number is listed then tap Next.
  4. Select a network, enter the password then tap
    Connect
    .
    Tap
    Skip
     to add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.
    Select a network then enter the password.
  5. To copy apps & data from a previous phone, tap
    Next
     then follow the on screen instructions.
    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.
    Select a network then enter the password.
  6. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one then tap
    Next

    Skip
     to add your Google account after setup is complete.
    Sign into your Google account or create a new one.
  7. Turn on any of the following options then tap
    Accept
    :
    Tap to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Back up to Google Drive
    • Use location
    • Allow scanning
    • Send usage and diagnostic data
    Turn on any of the following then tap Accept
  8. Add a PIN for protection then tap
    Next
    .
    To select other protection options (e.g., pattern, password, etc.) tap
    Screen lock options

    Tap
    Skip
     to enable a screen lock after the setup is complete.
    Add a PIN for protection then tap Next
  9. If presented, to set up fingerprint recognition, tap
    Set up
     then follow the on screen instructions.
    Tap
    Skip
     to set up fingerprint recognition after setup is complete.
    To set up fingerprint recognition, tap Set up then follow the on screen instructions.
  10. From the 'Assistant' screen, tap
    Continue
     to review terms then tap
    I Agree
    .
    Tap
    No thanks
    , to turn on Google Assistant after setup is complete.
    Add a PIN for protection then tap Next
  11. Tap any of the available options to further customize your device.
    Tap
    No thanks
     to continue with the Setup Wizard.
    Tap any of the available options to further customize your device
  12. Turn the following options on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    Accept
    :
    • Location info
    • Apps info
  13. To set up Verizon Cloud, tap
    Next
     then follow the on screen instructions.
    Tap
    Skip
     to set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.
    To set up Verizon Cloud, tap Next then follow the on screen instructions
  14. To set up Digital Secure, review the info then tap
    Accept
    .
    Tap
    Skip
     to continue with the Setup Wizard without setting up Digital Secure.
    To set up Digital Secure, review the info then tap Accept.
  15. Tap
    Accept and continue
     to use your current Privacy Settings.
    If needed, tap
    Privacy Settings
     to make changes.
    Tap Accept and continue to use your current Privacy Settings
  16. To complete setup, tap
    Got it
    .
