Here's how to connect your moto g7 power to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. From the Wi-Fi networks section, tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually.
  5. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it's being entered, tap (check)
    Show password
    .

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    Add network
     Add icon .
  5. From the Network SSID field, enter the appropriate network name.
  6. From the Security field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
    then tap the applicable security option:
    If using an Open network (None), skip to step 9.
    • WEP
    • WPA / WPA2 PSK
    • 802.1x EAP
    • None
  7. If prompted, enter a User name in the Identity field.
  8. Enter the password into the Password field.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap (check)
    Show password

  9. Tap
    Advanced options
     Down arrow icon then ensure all additional settings (e.g. Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap
    Save
    .
