My Verizon app - Sign Up for Share Name ID

Here's how to sign up for Share Name ID via the My Verizon app.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
    If you're not able to access the My Verizon app, you can also visit the My Verizon website to manage your account.
  • Changes to these items may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).
  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     .
  2. Tap the
    Account tab
     (at the bottom).
    If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
  3. Tap
    Services & perks
     then do one of the following:
    • If no lines are enrolled in Share Name ID:
      1. From the 'Mobile' section, tap
        See All
        .
      2. From the 'Share Name ID' section, tap
        Learn more
        .
      3. Tap
        Get it now
         (at the top).
    • If any line on the account is enrolled in Share Name ID:
      1. From the 'Manage Services & Perks' section, tap
        See All
        .
      2. From the 'Share Name ID' section, tap
        Manage
        .
      3. Tap
        Enroll
         to the right of a desired line.
      4. Tap 'Just this line' or 'Multiple lines'.
  4. From the 'Enroll in Share Name ID' screen, select
    Share Name ID
     for the desired line(s) then tap
    Continue
    .
    Selected when a black dot present.
  5. Tap (check)
    I accept the Terms and Conditions
     then tap
    Confirm
    .
