LG G Pad 8.3 LTE - View / Extend Battery Life
Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.
- Battery life is measured by standby time and usage time.
- Standby time is the amount of time the device remains on with no activity.
- Usage time is based on activity while the device is on.
- Data usage (e.g., web browsing, apps, streaming, etc.) reduces usage time.
- Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.
- From a home screen, tapApps

- Review the current battery status.
- Discharging: Device is not charging
- Charging (USB): Charging at a lower rate
- Charging (AC): Charging at standard rate (preferred method)
- From Battery Information tap,Battery usage

- From the Battery Usage Level section, review the line graph.The graph displays the percent of charge since it was last charging.
- From the Battery Use Details section, review the usage details (e.g. Screen

, etc.).
In order to improve battery life, you can:
- Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.
- Ensure Power Saver Settings are enabled.
- Adjust brightness settings to lowest setting or use Automatic brightness.
- Turn off GPS when not in use.If disabled, certain apps or services may not work properly.
- Turn off vibrate mode if not used.
- Change account sync settings to lowest frequency.
- Remove widgets that automatically update.
