Enable / Disable App - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android™ device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Apps
     Apps icon .
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
     .
  3. Tap
    Application manager
     .
  4. From the All tab, tap an app.
  5. Tap
    Enable
     .

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Apps
     Apps icon .
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
     .
  3. Tap
    Application manager
     .
  4. From the All tab, tap an app.
  5. Tap
    Disable
     .
  6. From the "Disable built-in app?" prompt, tap
    OK
