Adjust Brightness / Display Settings - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Screen timeout, Font size, etc.) for your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps
    Settings Settings icon
    Display Display settings icon
    .
    If Settings is not available, ensure that the Apps tab is selected.
  2. Tap
    Brightness
     .
  3. Adjust the Brightness level as necessary then tap
    OK
     .
    To adjust automatically, tap Automatic brightness (enabled when a checkmark Check box icon is present).

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps
    Settings Settings icon
    Display Display settings icon
    .
    If Settings is not available, ensure that the Apps tab is selected.
  2. Tap
    Screen timeout
    then select the desired option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 minutes, etc.).
  3. Tap
    Screen-off effect
     , select the desired option(e.g., Retro TV, Fade out, etc.) then tap
    OK
     .
  4. Tap the
    Daydream switch
    to turn on On indicator and off Off indicator .
    When turned on, tap Daydream then select the desired option (e.g., Alarm/Clock, Google Photos, etc.).
  5. Tap
    Smart screen
    to enable or disable.
    Enabled when a checkmark Check box icon is present.
  6. Tap
    Font type
     then select the desired option (e.g., NewSmartGothic, Travel, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Font size
     .
    If prompted with changes impact all users tap OK to continue.
  8. Tap a Font size option (Small, Medium, etc.).
