Verizon Smart Family - Add Service
Here's how to add the Smart Family service using your smartphone or tablet.
To perform the steps below, ensure the Smart Family app is installed.
- Verizon Smart Family Premium ($9.99/mo) Subscription:
- Locate family members and set arrival/departure alerts.
- View driving insights and recieve crash alerts
- View activity (e.g., text, calls, online).
- Block inappropriate content (e.g., apps and websites).
- Set time restrictions and data, messaging or voice limits (i.e., usage controls).
- Verizon Smart Family ($4.99/mo) Subscription:
- View activity (e.g., text, calls, online).
- Block inappropriate content (e.g., apps and websites).
- Set time restrictions and data, messaging or voice limits (i.e., usage controls).
- From the Smart Family™ parent app, tapGet Started.
- From the tutorial screen, tapNextto advance through orSign into skip the tutorial.
- From the Sign in screen, enter the appropriate credentials for My Verizon then tapSign in.You must sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has account owner or manager access privileges.If your My Verizon password is unknown, it can be reset.
- From the 'Select your plan' screen, select the desired plan:This screen only appears if Smart Family service hasn't been added to the account yet.

- Review the 'Terms of Use and Privacy Policy', then tap thecheckbox.
- TapEnroll.
- On the 'Parental consent' screen tapAgree.
