Apple iPad - Cancel Prepaid Cellular Data Plan

Here's how to cancel a prepaid data plan on your iPad.
  • Steps apply to active prepaid subscribers only, standard service cannot be canceled with these steps.

  • Any remaining balance on the line is forfeited when canceling service.
  1. From the Home screen of your Apple® iPad®, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Cellular Data
    Manage Verizon Account
    .
  2. If prompted, tap
    Account Settings
    .
  3. If prompted, enter the email and password for your My Verizon account then tap
    Next
    .
    If the account password has been forgotten, refer to Recover Cellular Data Account Password for assistance.
  4. Tap
    Add Data or Change Plan
    .
  5. Under the 'Plan Options' section, tap
    Cancel Plan
    .
  6. Tap
    Delete Account Now
    .
  7. To confirm, tap
    Submit
    .
    It may take several minutes to update the account.
    To finish the cancellation, the account must be reset. Refer to Reset Cellular Data Account for assistance.
