SHARP ROUVO V - Turn Android Device Protection On / Off
Here's how to turn Android Device Protection for your ROUVO V on or off.
If the sign-in credentials for the Google account used to enable Android Device Protection on the device are unknown, have the customer do one of the following:
- Attempt to sign in with any Google account that was previously used on the device.
- Reset the password via the www.google.com/accounts/recovery website.
- If you have a Google™ ( Gmail™ ) account on your smartphone / tablet, device protection is automatically turned on. If needed, you can add a Google account.
- To turn off device protection, remove all Google accounts from the device.
- Android Device Protection (Kill Switch) prevents unauthorized use of your device by requiring your Gmail address and password to be entered before the device can be set up if it's reset using the alternate reset method.
- When a trusted reset is performed, device protection isn't enabled.
