TCL TAB Disney Edition - View / Extend Battery Life

Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your TCL TAB Disney Edition.

Battery life is measured by standby time and talk time.

Standby time is the amount of time the device stays powered on with no data or other usage.

Using data such as web browsing, apps or streaming reduces overall usage time.

Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.

From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.

Navigate:

Settings

Battery

Review the remaining battery graph.

The graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.

To improve battery life, you can:

Stop running apps that are not being used.

Disable apps that are consuming too much battery or RAM and not being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to lowest setting or use Adaptive brightness.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If disabled, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use.

If disabled, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Change account sync settings to lowest frequency.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
