TCL TAB Disney Edition - Customize Your Home Screen

Here's how to add / remove Home screen items (widgets, apps or folders) and set the wallpaper on your TCL TAB Disney Edition.
To customize the Home screen on your TCL TAB Disney Edition, do any of the following:

Add Apps

A shortcut to an individual contact or bookmark can be added to the Home screen via a widget.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag the shortcut to the preferred Home screen then release.

Add Widgets

Widgets are mini-apps (e.g., weather, clock, calendar, etc.) that can be added to a Home screen. They aren't the same as shortcuts as they generally display info and take up more space than a single icon.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
     (at the bottom).
  3. Tap a widget.
    Some widgets offer different size options. If no additional options are available, skip to step 4.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the desired screen.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (folder name is blank by default).
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the icon to
    Remove
     (top of screen) then release.

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Choose an option:
    • To use a default wallpaper image:
      1. Tap
        Wallpapers
        .
      2. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      3. Tap
        Set wallpaper
        .
      4. Tap preferred option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Photos
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture then tap
        Set wallpaper
        .
      3. Tap preferred option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).
