TCL TAB Disney Edition - Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Screen saver, Sleep, Display size, etc.) for your TCL TAB Disney Edition.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Brightness level
    , touch and hold the green dot then drag left or right to the desired brightness.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap the option, then tap the switch for any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
    If necessary, tap each option to configure additional settings.
    • Dark mode
    • Eye comfort shield
    • Reading mode
    • Function shortcuts
  4. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Font size
    .
  6. From the 'Font size' screen, touch and hold the green dot then drag left or right to the desired option.
  7. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon (upper-left).
  8. Tap
    Screen timeout
     then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.).
  9. To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
    1. Tap
      Screen saver
      .
    2. Tap the current screen saver, then select one of the following:
      Selected when a green dot appears.
      • Clock
        Tap the
        Settings icon
         Settings icon to select more options.
      • Colors
      • Photos
        Tap the
        Settings icon
         to select more options.
    3. Tap
      When to start
       to choose 'While charging' or 'Never'.
    4. Tap the
      Back icon
