Call Filter - Add / Remove Neighborhood Filter

Here's how to block robocalls from specific area codes and prefixes via the Call Filter app.
For more info on account security and frequently asked questions about Call Filter, check out the following:
  • Before completing the steps below, you must enable Call Blocking & Identification after downloading the Call Filter app from the App Store (iPhone only).
  • Adding a neighborhood filter can silence legitimate calls from the area code and prefix you've blocked, unless the specific numbers are saved in your phone's contact list.
  • Call Filter (formerly Caller Name ID) provides additional caller detail (e.g., city, state, name, etc.) and enables you to manage and block spam calls.
  • Robocallers use neighborhood spoofing, which displays a phone number similar to your own on your caller ID, to increase the likelihood that you will answer the call. In the Call Filter app, calls from a specific area code and/or prefix can be silenced and sent directly to Voicemail by using a neighborhood filter.
  • Neighborhood Filter is an app-based feature, and can only be used by customers who are eligible to use the Call Filter app.
  • You can add up to 5 neighborhood filters if subscribed to Call Filter Free, or up to 10 with Call Filter Plus.
  • Call Filter Plus subscribers can additionally add an area code filter to block all calls from a specific area code (Android only).
