MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Motorola one 5G UW.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. Ensure a 5G SIM is inserted into the device prior to powering on.
    5G Devices purchased from Verizon include a pre-installed 5G SIM card.
    To avoid potential activation / service issues, don't insert a 4G SIM card.
  2. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the moto logo appears then release.

  3. Select the appropriate language then tap
    START

  4. Ensure the appropriate mobile number is listed then tap
    Next

    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  5. Select a network then enter the password.

     to add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.

  6. If you'd like to restore your info from an old device, tap

    If you'd like a fresh start, tap

  7. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one then tap

     to add your Google account after setup is complete.

  8. Review the Google Services info, tap any of the switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

     (may require scrolling to the bottom).

  9. Enter a lock code then tap

     to set up a screen lock after setup is complete.

  10. From the 'Continue setup?' screen, tap
    Continue

    If you choose 'Leave & get reminder', the setup reminder will appear in your notification panel to complete later.

  11. From the 'Check out what's trending...' screen, tap

     to continue.

  12. Review the info then tap
    I Agree
     to setup Voice Match.

     to continue with the Setup Wizard.

  13. From the 'Anything else?' screen, select an option or tap

    to finish setup.

     to set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.

    switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

     to complete setup.
