MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to add a Wi-Fi network to your Motorola one 5G UW.

Add a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure that the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. From the Wi-Fi networks section, tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network is not listed, it can be added manually.
  5. If prompted, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
     (enabled when a checkmark is present).

Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network admin for assistance.
  1. Tap
    Add network
    .
  2. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate network name.
  3. From the Security field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     .
  4. Tap the applicable security option:
    If using an Open network (None), skip to step 7.
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA / WPA2 - Personal
    • WPA3 - Personal
    • WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 - Enterprise
    • WPA3 - Enterprise 192-bit
  5. If prompted, enter a User name in the
    Identity field
    .
  6. Enter the password into the Password field.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
     (enabled when a checkmark is present).
  7. Tap
    Advanced options
     then ensure all additional settings (e.g., Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap
    Save
    .
