Verizon Smart Family - Sync Child Contact List

Here's how to sync your child's contacts with Smart Family so you can see the contact details when viewing call / text activity from your device.
Before completing the steps below:
  1. From the Smart Family parent app, tap the
    Family Profiles tab
     (bottom menu).
  2. Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
  3. From the 'Call & texts' card, tap
    Details
     (located in the lower-right corner of Call & Text activity window).
  4. To the right of 'Text history', tap
    Sync now
    .
    If prompted to update the Companion app, do the following:
    1. Tap
      Update now
      .
    2. Tap
      Send text
      .
    3. Open the text message on your child's device to update the Companion app.
  5. Tap
    OK, got it
    .
  6. Open the Smart Family Companion app on your child's device.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • If your child's device is an Android™:
      1. Tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Tap
        ALLOW
         to grant Smart Family Companion access to your contacts.
    • If your child's device is an Apple® iPhone:®
      1. Tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Tap
        OK
         to allow the Companion app access to your contacts.
