Nokia 3 V - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Nokia 3 V.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Nokia logo appears then release.
  2. Select the appropriate language then tap
    START
    .

  3. If presented with the 'Phone Activation' screen, tap
    NEXT
    .
    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  4. From the 'Connect to Wi-Fi' screen, select a network then enter the password.

  5. If you'd like to restore your info from an old device tap
    NEXT

    If you'd like a fresh start tap
    DON'T COPY

    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.
  6. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one.

     to add your Google account after setup is complete.

  7. From the 'Google services' screen, tap any of the switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    ACCEPT
     (may require scrolling to the bottom).

  8. From the 'Set screen lock' screen, enter lock code then tap
    NEXT

     to set up a screen lock after setup is complete.

  9. From the 'Verizon Cloud' screen, tap
    NEXT

     to set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.

  10. From the 'Email Accounts' screen, tap an email account type to set up.

     to add a personal / corporate email account after setup is complete.

    switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    ACCEPT

  12. From the 'Ready to go!' screen, tap
    GOT IT!
     to complete setup.
