Sonim XP8 - Auto Switch Between Wi-Fi & Mobile Data Networks

Here's how to allow your Sonim XP8 to auto switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to preserve a consistent data connection.
When connected to the Verizon cellular network, data overage charges may apply (depending upon data plan). For data usage info, refer to the My Verizon website.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  4. Tap
    Wi-Fi preferences
     (at the bottom).
  5. Tap the
    Turn on Wi-Fi automatically switch
     to turn on On Switch or off Off Switch.
