My Verizon app - Turn Touch or Face ID On / Off

Here's how to sign in to the My Verizon app via fingerprint or facial recognition.
  • The My Verizon app can be accessed using fingerprint or facial recognition depending upon the capabilities of your device.
  • Ensure fingerprint or facial recognition is enabled on your device prior to enabling in the My Verizon app.
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
    If you're not able to access the My Verizon app, you can also visit the My Verizon website to manage your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).
  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     My Verizon App icon.
  2. Tap the
    Account tab
     (at the bottom).
    If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
  3. Tap
    Edit profile & settings
     (at the top).
  4. From the 'Security' section, tap one of the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Off icon:
    • Enable Touch ID
    • Enable Face ID
      Not available on all devices that support facial recognition.
  5. If prompted, tap
    Accept terms
    .
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to register your ID.
