Register via My Verizon app (Prepaid)
Here's how to register for My Verizon via the My Verizon app (prepaid).
- My Verizon registration is not available for a prepaid account with a non-text-capable device.
- Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
- The My Verizon app is only available for Android™ devices running 7.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 14.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit verizonwireless.com to sign in and manage your account.
- If needed, install - My Verizon app.
- Open theMy Verizon app.
- Tap5G Home & Prepaid Mobile.
- If prompted, enter the device's mobile number then tapNext.
- Enter the account PIN then tabNext.If you forgot the PIN:
- TapForgotto receive a temp PIN via SMS.
- Enter the temporary PIN then tapNext.
- Enter a new account PIN then tapNext.
- Enter the new account PIN to confirm then tapNext.
- From the 'Let's get started' screen, enter the following info:
- User ID
- Greeting Name
- Email address
- To continue, tapI Agree to the Terms and Conditionsthen tapNext.A text message with a temporary password is sent to your default messaging app.
- From the 'Check your texts' screen, tapSign in.
- Enter the following info in the applicable fields then tapSign in.If desired, tap the 'Remember me' checkbox.
- User ID or Mobile Number
- Temporary Password
- From the 'Create a new password' screen, enter and re-enter a new password then tapSubmit.Passwords must be 8-20 characters and use at least 1 number and 1 letter.
- If presented with a 'Set Security Question' screen, enter the appropriate info then tapNext.
- If available on your device, to turn on Touch ID, tapTurn on.To continue, tapI agree to the Terms and Conditionsthen tapNext.
