Here's how to reset apps if your LG G Pad 8.3 tablet crashes, resets or freezes.
If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.
Back up and restore personal data from Google's servers such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Application manager Application manager icon

  2. From the All tab, locate then select the appropriate app.
  3. Tap
    Force stop
     .
  4. From the "Force stop?" prompt, tap
    OK
    .
  5. Tap
    Clear data
     .
    Option may not be available for all apps.
    Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
    If Verizon Messages is reset, the tablet will need to be re-paired to the smartphone it is associated with.
  6. From the Delete app data? prompt, tap
    OK
