Google™ Backup and Restore - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to ensure your Gmail, contacts, apps, etc. are backed up on your G Pad 8.3 LTE.
Backups can't be restored from a higher Android™ version onto a device with a lower Android version.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Apps
     .
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon .
  3. Tap
    Backup & reset
     Backup and reset icon .
  4. Tap
    Back up my data
     to enable or disable.
    Enabled when a checkmark Check Box icon is present.
  5. From the Backup account field, ensure the appropriate account is set.
    To change accounts Back up my data must be enabled.
    1. Tap
      Backup account
       .
    2. Tap the desired account.
When a Google account is added to your device, previous backups are restored. This can be done by adding an existing Google account to your already active device or by signing in to the same Google account while setting up your new or reset device.
