TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2.
  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™ .
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Turn Data Saver On / Off:
      1. Tap
        Data Saver
        .
      2. Tap
        Use Data Saver switch
         to turn on On icon or off Off icon.
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Billing cycle
        .
      2. Tap
        Cellular data usage cycle
        , select the Usage cycle reset date then tap
        SET
        .
        Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
      1. Tap
        Billing cycle
        .
      2. Tap
        Alert me
         to turn on Switch on tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      4. Enter the preferred warning limit then tap
        SET
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to use apps that require a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Tap
        Billing cycle

      2. Tap
        Set data limit
         to turn on.
        If presented with Limiting data usage screen, review the message then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      4. Enter the preferred data usage limit then tap
        SET
        .
