TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Google Backup and Restore

Here's how to ensure your Gmail, contacts, apps, etc. are backed up on your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2.
Google™ backups can't be restored from a higher Android™ version onto a device with a lower Android version.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    System
    .
  3. Tap
    Backup
    .
    If prompted, on the 'Back up your device with Google One' screen tap
    Turn on
     to enable Backup.
  4. Tap the
    Backup by Google One switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    If turned off, existing backups are deleted from Google's servers.
  5. From the 'Account storage' field, ensure you list the appropriate account (email address).
    You must enable Backup by Google One.
    1. To change accounts, tap
      Account storage
      .
    2. Tap the preferred account or tap 'Add account'.
When a Google account is added to your device, previous backups are restored. This can be done by adding an existing Google account to your already active device or by signing in to the same Google account while setting up your new or reset device.
