Connected Car Wi-Fi (BMW) - Activate Personal eSIM

Here's how to activate your personal eSIM using the My BMW App.
  1. Open the MyBMW app.
  2. Tap the
    Profile icon
     Profile icon (bottom right).
  3. Tap
    Personal eSIM
    .
  4. Tap
    ACTIVATE ESIM
    .
  5. Tap
    Mobile network provider
     then select
    Verizon
    .
  6. Enter your Verizon phone number.
    Enter the phone number you want to be associated with your BMW Account.
  7. Tap
    Shop plans
    .
  8. Log in to your Verizon account then follow the on-screen instructions to select a plan and complete activation.
    Once you enter your login credentials, return to the web browser for the Verizon microsite to continue with your plan selection and activation.
    Only the Account Owner or Account Manager can log in to authorize onboarding.
  9. From the confirmation screen, tap
    Return to MyBMW
    .
  10. From the Request completed prompt in the MyBMW app, tap
    OK
    .
  11. To add your personal eSIM to a vehicle, refer to Download eSIM Profile.
