Apple iPhone - Unlock Screen

Here's how to unlock the screen on your iPhone.

iPhone without a Home button

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen then enter the passcode if prompted.
    Alternatively, if Face ID is turned on, glance at the screen of your iPhone then swipe up to unlock.

iPhone with a Home button

  1. From the lock screen, press the Home button then enter the passcode.
    Alternatively, if Touch ID is turned on, place your finger on the Home Button to scan your fingerprint.
