TCL TAB Disney Edition - View / Restrict Data Usage by App

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app on your TCL TAB Disney Edition uses.
Some apps depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Advanced
    Data usage
    .
  3. From the Mobile section, tap
    App data usage
    .
    To see Wi-Fi data usage, tap
    Wi-Fi data usage
     in the Wi-Fi section.
  4. Select an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the
    Background data switch
     to turn off Switch off.
