TCL TAB Disney Edition - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect your TCL TAB Disney Edition to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Use Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually.
  5. If presented, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
    .

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network admin for assistance.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Use Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    Add network
    .
  5. From the 'Network name' field, enter the appropriate name.
  6. From the 'Security' field, tap the appropriate security option:
    If using an 'Open network' (None), skip to step 10.
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA / WPA2-Personal
    • WPA3-Personal
    • WPA / WPA2 / WPA3-Enterprise
    • WPA-3Enterprise 192-bit
      If applicable, ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately.
  7. From the 'Password' field, enter the appropriate password.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap
    Show password
    .
  8. Tap
    Advanced options
     then ensure additional settings (e.g., IP settings, Proxy, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable).
  9. Tap
    SAVE
     (lower-right).
