Windows 11 - View, Open or Close Recently Used Apps

Here's how to view, open or close recently used apps on your Windows 11 device.
If your device isn't running Windows® 11, refer to the Windows 10 instructions.
  1. From the Windows desktop, press the
    Windows key+Tab
     key to open Task View.
  2. To Open or Close:
    • Open: From the Open apps screen, tap or click an app to start using that app.
    • Close: Tap the
      Close icon
       close icon (located in the top-right corner of the app).
      • The Close icon appears when the cursor is placed on the desired app.
