Windows 11 - Uninstall Apps

Here's how to remove or delete apps if your Windows 11 device is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.
  • Pre-installed apps (apps included with the Windows® 11 operating system) may not have an uninstall option.
  • If your device isn't running Windows 11, refer to the Windows 10 instructions.
  1. From the Windows desktop, navigate:
    Start Start menu icon
    All app

  2. Locate the appropriate app then perform one of the following:
    • Touch and hold the app for approximately one second then release.
    • Right-click the app using the touchpad or a mouse.
  3. Tap or click
    Uninstall

  4. From the Confirmation prompt, tap or click
    Uninstall
