Windows 11 - Set Up Cortana

Here's how to set up Cortana for your Windows 11 device.
  • Get help, answers, suggestions, recommendations, reminders and much more from Cortana®, the personal assistant from Windows® . With permission, Cortana keeps a notebook of things about you to keep track of your interests so she can learn and anticipate to give you tailored recommendations and suggestions.
  • Cortana is no longer pinned to the taskbar by default. You can pin the Cortana app to the taskbar, if preferred.
  1. From the Windows desktop, navigate:
    Start Start menu icon
    Cortana
    If necessary, tap or click
    All Apps
     to locate the Cortana app.
  2. Tap or click
    Sign in
    .
  3. From the 'Let's get you signed in' screen, use the current account or select use a different account then tap or click
    Continue
    .
  4. To continue, review the Microsoft Privacy Statement then tap or click
    Accept and continue
