Windows 11 - Add a User Account
Here's how to add a user profile so multiple people can use your Windows 11 device.
If your device isn't running Windows® 11, refer to Windows 10 instructions.
- From the Windows desktop, navigate:(left-panel).StartSettingsAccounts
- Tap or clickFamily & other usersthen do any of the following.
- To set up Family / Child accounts, refer to this Microsoft Microsoft tutorial.
- To set up other users:
- From the 'Other users' section, tap or clickAdd account.
- Do one of the following:
- If the person you're adding has a Microsoft account, enter their email address, tap or clickNextthen selectFinish.
- If the person you're adding doesn't have a Microsoft account, tap or clickI don't have this person's sign-in informationthen selectAdd a user without a Microsoft account.Enter the user name, password and password hint then complete any remaining steps to finish account creation.
