Here's how to turn NFC on or off so compatible apps can transfer files from your Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
  • Near Field Communication (NFC) allows the transferring of data between devices that are a few centimeters apart, typically back-to-back. NFC must be enabled for NFC-based apps (e.g., Samsung Pay) to function correctly.
  • From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your watch's software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
