Here's how to check for and install software updates on your Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
  • From your Android™ smartphone, ensure the Galaxy Wearable app is installed and updated.
  • Software updates for the Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic are initiated from the companion device and not the watch.
  1. Open the
    Galaxy Wearable app
    on the connected Android smartphone.
  2. Tap
    Watch settings
     Watch settings icon.
  3. Tap
    Watch software update
    .
  4. Tap
    Download and install
    .
  5. If an update is available:
    1. Tap
      Update now
      .
    2. From the Watch software update' screen, tap
      Install now
      .
      The software update process may take several minutes to complete.
