Samsung Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect your Galaxy Watch4 / Galaxy Watch4 Classic to a Wi-Fi network.
From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your Galaxy Watch4 Classic software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Press the Home button
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon.
  3. Select
    Connections
     then tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  4. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
    If necessary, tap the
    switch
     to turn on On switch icon.
  5. Tap the desired available Wi-Fi connection.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually.
  6. Tap
    Password
    , enter the Password (if required) then tap
    Done
    .
  7. Tap
    Save
    .

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Press the Home button
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon.
  3. Select
    Connections
     then tap
    Wi-Fi
    .
  4. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
    If necessary, tap the
    switch
     to turn on On switch icon.
  5. Tap
    Add network
    .
  6. Tap
    Network name
     then enter the name of the desired network.
  7. Tap
    Done
    .
  8. Tap
    Security
     then select the security type (e.g., None, WEP, WPA, etc.).
