Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. Ensure a 4G SIM card is inserted into the device prior to powering on.
  2. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power / Side button
     (upper-left edge when held in landscape) until the 'Samsung Galaxy' screen appears then release.

  3. Select the appropriate language then tap

  4. To continue, select (check) the following then tap

     (lower-right):

      Must be selected to continue.

  5. From the 'Tablet activation' screen, tap
    Next

    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new tablet on an existing phone number, ensure the old device is powered off.

  6. From the 'Set up Wi-Fi' screen, select a network then enter the password, than tap

     to add Wi-Fi networks after the setup is complete.

  7. From the 'Copy apps & data' screen, tap

     then follow the on-screen options.
    If you'd like a fresh start, tap

    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.
  8. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one.

     to add a Google account after the setup is complete.

  9. From the 'Google services' screen, select any of the options to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

    If necessary, tap

     to review additional services.

  10. From the 'Protect your tablet' screen, tap an option.

     to add a screen lock or set up face recognition after setup is complete.

  13. From the 'Verizon Services' screen, select any of the options to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
