Orbic Myra 5G - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your Orbic Myra 5G.
If you need to add a virtual private network (VPN) to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secured remote server when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.) from your Orbic® Myra 5G™ follow these step-by-step instructions.
Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Advanced
    .
  3. Tap
    VPN
    .
  4. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon (upper-right).
  5. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock (pattern, PIN or password only) for assistance.
  6. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
  7. From the Type field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     (on the right) then select the VPN type:
    • PPTP
    • L2TP/IPSec PSK
    • L2TP/IPSec RSA
    • IPSec Xauth PSK
    • IPSec Xauth RSA
    • IPSec Hybrid RSA
  8. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
     (lower-right).
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
