If you need to enable, disable, or modify a screen lock (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Orbic® Myra 5G™ follow these step-by-step instructions.
- If using Microsoft® Exchange / Corporate sync, some screen lock options may be unavailable.
- These steps can also be utilized to change the current screen lock setting on your device
Pattern
An unlock pattern is created to access the device.
- From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
- Navigate:.SettingsSecurityScreen lockIf prompted to add a Google account:
- Tap Add Google account now to set up an account.
- TapContinueto proceed without setting up an account.If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
- TapPattern.
- Draw an unlock pattern (connecting at least 4 dots) then tapNext.
- Draw the same pattern again then tapConfirm.
- If prompted, tap one of the following then tapOK:
- Show all notification content.
- Show sensitive content only when unlocked.
- Don't show notifications at all.
PIN
A PIN is created to access the device.
Password
A password is created to access the device.
Disable Screen Lock
- From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
- Navigate:.SettingsSecurityScreen lockIf prompted to add a Google account:
- Tap Add Google account now to set up an account.
- TapContinueto proceed without setting up an account.If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
- Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
- To confirm, tapYES, REMOVE.
