Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate this device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device prior to powering on.
    To avoid potential activation / service issues, don't insert a 4G SIM card.
    5G Devices purchased from Verizon include a pre-installed 5G SIM card.

  2. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power / Side button
     (upper-left edge when held in landscape) until the 'Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G' screen appears then release.

  3. Select the appropriate language then tap
    Start

  4. To continue, select (check) the following then tap
    I Agree
     (lower-right):

     to review the info before continuing.

      Must be selected to continue.

  5. From the 'Tablet activation' screen, tap
    Next
    .
    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new tablet on an existing phone number, ensure the old device is powered off.

  6. From the 'Set up Wi-Fi' screen, connect to a network then tap

     to add Wi-Fi networks after the setup is complete.
  7. From the 'Copy apps & data' screen, tap
    Next
     then follow the on-screen options.
    If you'd like a fresh start, tap

    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.
  8. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one.

     to add a Google account after the setup is complete.
  9. To continue, review the Google Terms of Service, Google Play Terms of Service, and Google Privacy Policy then tap

    If you didn't add a Google account in step 8, skip to step 10.
  10. From the 'Google services' screen, select any of the options to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    Accept
    .
    If necessary, tap

     to review additional services.
  11. From the 'Protect your tablet' screen, tap an option then follow the onscreen steps.

     to add a screen lock or set up face or fingerprint recognition after setup is complete.

  14. From the 'Verizon Services' screen, select any of the options to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    Accept
    .
  15. From the 'Samsung account' screen, sign in to your existing account or create a new Samsung account.

     to add a Samsung account after setup is complete.
  16. From the 'Samsung services' screen, select any of the options to turn on or off then tap
    Agree
    .
  17. From the 'Setup Wizard is complete' screen, tap
