Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW - Set Up Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up fingerprint recognition on your DuraForce Ultra 5G UW.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Fingerprint
    .
  3. Review the instructions then tap
    CONTINUE
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
    If no screen lock is active, tap
    Continue
     and select a lock option (e.g., Pattern, PIN or Password) then follow the steps to complete the process.
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  5. Review the disclaimer then tap
    NEXT
    .
  6. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint. Repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
    For greater accuracy, finger placement should vary slightly each time.
    For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  7. If needed, enter a Fingerprint name then tap
    DONE
     (lower-right).
