Here's how to turn Mobile Hotspot for your OnePlus 8 5G UW on or off.
When Mobile Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are turned off.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Wi-Fi & Network
     >
    Mobile HotSpot & tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile HotSpot
    .
  4. Tap the
    Mobile HotSpot switch
     to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
    If prompted, review the info then tap
    OK to confirm
