Orbic® Journey™ V / Orbic Journey - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your Orbic Journey V / Journey.
  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  2. Navigate:
    Tools &Settings
    Settings
    Wireless & networks
    .
  3. Select
    Cellular Networks
    .
  4. Select
    Data usage
    .
  5. select
    Data usage settings
     then do one of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Select
        Monthly date cycle
        .
      2. Utilize the navigation pad to choose your bill cycle date.
        Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
      3. Select
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Select
        Limit
        .
      2. Utilize the navigation pad to scroll through the following options then configure as preferred:
        Limit (on or off)
      3. Select
        Limit size
         once turned on.
      4. Enter the appropriate limit size, then select
        Save
        .
        If prompted with 'Mobile data will be turned off...', select
        OK
         to save changes.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      1. Select
        Alert
        .
      2. Utilize the navigation pad to scroll through the following options then configure as preferred:
        Alert (on or off)
      3. Select
        Alert size
         once turned on.
      4. Enter the appropriate alert size, then select
        Save
        .
