Sonim XP8 - Power Up in Safe Mode

Here's how to boot your Sonim XP8 into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if your Sonim XP8® can be powered on and is responsive.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the
    Power button
     (left-edge) until the Sonim logo appears, then release.

  3. With the Sonim logo on screen, press and hold the
    Volume Down button
     (lower-left edge).

  4. Continue to hold the
    Volume Down button
     until Safe mode appears in the lower left of the screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
  5. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
