Alcatel Avalon™ V - Turn Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot On / Off

Here's how turn the Mobile Hotspot feature for your Avalon V on or off.
This shows how to turn Mobile Hotspot on or off. If you're having trouble setting up or connecting to Wi-Fi, make sure Mobile Hotspot is off.
When Mobile Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are turned off.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Network & internet
     >
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap the
    Mobile Hotspot switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  4. If prompted, review the info then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
