Samsung Galaxy S10 - Stop Running Apps

Here's how to stop a running app if it causes your Galaxy S10e / Galaxy S10 / Galaxy S10+ to freeze, crash, reset or run slow.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
      to turn on Switch on icon.
  4. Tap
    Force stop
    .
  5. To confirm, review the message then tap
    OK
    .
