Samsung Galaxy S10 - Add a Contact

Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy S10e / Galaxy S10 / Galaxy S10+.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Tap the
    Plus icon
     Add Contact icon (lower-right).
  4. If presented, select an account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.).
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    Save
     (upper-right):
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Work
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      *+#
       then tap 'Pause(,)' or 'Wait(;)'.
    • Email
    • Groups
      Tap View more for additional options:
      • Phonetic name (displays under 'Name' field)
      • Nickname (displays under 'Name' field)
      • Work info
      • Address
      • Important date
      • Relationship
      • Notes
      • Website
      • Messenger account
      • Vibration pattern
